Use tomtom in windows xp

I'm running Mint Installed Virtual Box from software centre, 4. I can plug in USB sticks and see whats on them, I can even plug in a Model Railroad DCC controller and that connects and works with the software installed in XP as when I turn the speed control on the controller, the speed scale in the software also changes so that leads me to believe everything is working as it should. The problem I've got is with TomTom Home.

It installs no problem and runs no problem. Has anybody got this to work? I'm sure it's something easy I'm just missing it! Thanks Ian.
