You cannot use the vacuum lines in the second set of pics Therefore, they will only give you correct boost response when the EGR is open or was it closed? Hard to remember as my car hasn't had an EGR in quite some time now. Either way, there was a fellow here on the club who did that on his car and wondered why it didn't work.
