Our staff often recommends you go to the nearest emergency room for treatment and assessment of immediate needs.
Services are also available for safe medically-managed withdrawal when certain opiate or other prescribed regimens are no longer indicated. The Stepping Stones Program accepts adults 18 years old or older. If you need detoxification, we offer a medically managed inpatient stay. Outpatient treatment includes two group counseling sessions and one individual session each week once you have been assessed for treatment needs.
Several tracts exist and range from week brief intervention, to weeks of treatment. Specialty groups address additional problems. Family group meetings are held three times weekly, following but not limited to a week rotating schedule of topics. We also administer an Employee Assistance Program so that local businesses may assist their employees with problems not only with the abuse of substances, but with other issues.
The Employee Assistance Program Community Outreach Liaison is available to discuss the program options with employers. At MMC, our drug and alcohol treatment program locks its doors to the public to maintain privacy. Federal law dictates the release of any of your private information is illegal unless you approve in writing beforehand, and the law then limits what can be disclosed.
Your time at our program is kept completely confidential. Once you are enrolled in The Stepping Stones Program, contact with family and friends is limited to Sunday visiting and weekend phone calls, by supervisory approval.
This allows you to concentrate on working with your counselor and the treatment staff to achieve your goals for improved health, and sobriety.
There happened to be an opening a few days a week for afternoon LEAP and after school care at our elementary school. The teachers were fantastic and our daughter learned so much in the LEAP program.
We also loved the fact that she got to stay in the building and we didn't have to worry about her being transported elsewhere for care. We also utilize the summer camp which she really enjoys! They do a great job planning and keeping the kids active! Every single staff member has been so kind and caring towards not only our child, but us as well.
We have been a part of Stepping Stones for 3 years now and we couldn't be happier with our experience!
